Dear Pride Fans, We would like to thank you for your continued support throughout our inaugural season. The return of a womens profesional soccer is a dream come true and would never have been made possible without you. Your enthusiasm for the game has given us the incredible opportunity to do what we love most and we are extremely grateful for this.

The pride you have taken in our team and in the sport has made a remarkable impact on us. To look up into the stands and see the excitement you bring to each game is empowering. We have been so fortunate to play in front of such an inspiring crowd and can honestly say you are our motivation. The accomplishments of this season are a direct tribute to the dedicated supporters of our team, the WPS, and women's athletics. We sincerely appreciate the investments you have put into our team and your devotion to our success.

FC Gold Pride Closes Out Inaugural Season with 1-1 Tie

In the twentieth and final game of the team's Inaugural Season, FC Gold Pride played the Saint Louis Athletica to a 1-1 tie. The Pride put on an exciting display of world class soccer for the 3,856 fans in attendance at Buck Shaw Stadium Sunday evening.

"We came out there and I thought we played some excellent soccer and created very good opportunities and unfortunately we couldn't put the ball in the back of the net," said FC Gold Pride Head Coach Albertin Montoya. "I thought Hope Solo was incredible, as she always is. We came out here and played with a lot of heart and desire. It was very dangerous, very dangerous in attack but I think at the end of the day, we put on a good game for the fans."
